Inside
The “masseria” is spread out across two floors and has different points of entry, passages, corridors and rooms that run one behind the other. It’s almost like visiting a castle and slowly discovering its secrets as you venture inside. The luxurious main hall brings you back to one of those films set towards the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th when large families would get together to celebrate or for the holidays. The dining room and the kitchen give a sense of coziness that you just cannot get in modern resorts or hotels and allow guests to prepare their food like once upon a time… even with wood ovens and vintage cutlery (obviously none of the comforts of a modern kitchen are missing). Continuing our venture we come across a lobby with a chimney and then a number of bedrooms both on the ground floor and the one above that leave you speechless each time you open a door to see what awaits you on the other side: Space and warmth, vintage furniture, large beds, enormous bathrooms that remain at the same time welcoming and intimate.
