He purchased the Masseria Fragneto from Orazio Pietro Semerari’s heirs (Donato Piccoli and Paolo Basile) for 4,565 ducats (which is equal to about 200 millions of Italian Lire) and 63 hectars.The purchase was signed by Stefano Carucci, a land surveyor who designed the CABREO, that is to say, a sort of cadastral map. It was closed, thus becoming the Congregazione della Carità).1889 he became council member.1892 he was elected as Mayor of Martina Franca, but he resigned because of health reasons.1885 He became board member of the Banca Popolare Cooperativa At the end of his career, his assets consisted in 13 masserie.
